In Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World, we discover 10 scrolls that contain priceless wisdom which, if followed, can help you create the success you want in your life. Read this abbreviated mantra closely and think about what areas of focus could most benefit your real estate business. To truly internalize these principles and make them habit, you may want to consider reading it three times a day, for one month.
Real Estate is sometimes the most difficult of businesses to be in. Not only do you have to deal with people that are unpredictable – you think you’ve got a buyer and then they fall through at the last minute – you also have to worry about changes in the market that are completely out of your control.
In those moments of frustration, don’t forget you have resources to help you through. The PMI Real Estate coaches are available to help you discuss what you’re doing, brainstorm what you may be able to do better, and help you overcome any slump you may be in. You can also look to the success of others as a source of motivation.
Another good idea is to keep a journal throughout the process. Looking back on it, you can remind yourself about why you’re doing it and motivate yourself to keep going!
“I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”
- Martha Washington
Martha Washington has it right, your attitude is your choice. And as we all know, a positive attitude can help you achieve your dreams and goals.
